Five tracks, one story. The Painted Rose moves through Indie Dance and Deep Tech House, opening with a live session recorded in Basque Country before shifting into tracks built in London at 129 BPM. The concept borrows Alice in Wonderland's Queen of Hearts — a rose repainted to hide what it really is — to ask what gets curated away in an artist's public self, and what's underneath.

Released as a hybrid object: a physical CD paired with five NFC Collector Cards, one per character from the story, plus a QR code unlocking Rekordbox-ready files for anyone who owns the physical copy. The strategy behind it is simple: build on platforms you actually own.

SHAW is a Taiwan-born, Berlin-trained, London-based producer and DJ (MA Music Production, UAL). Releases sit on Warner Music Asia, Build It Records and 18+ further labels; a co-production with James Hype reached #3 on Beatport's global chart. Stages have included Tomorrowland, Ultra Taiwan, Ministry of Sound and Egg London. Before London, SHAW founded TM Entertainment in Taiwan, producing self-branded events that lifted venue ticket sales by 35%. Now teaching 1-on-1 production, DJing and personal branding at London Sound Academy — and building a research practice exploring what house music's own structure can do beyond the dancefloor.
