SHAW is a Taiwan-born music producer, DJ, sound designer, and composer. He studied advanced audio production and recording engineering in Berlin before relocating to London, where he is currently completing his Master's in Music Production at the University of the Arts London — one of the world's foremost creative institutions.
His career spans two continents and multiple disciplines: touring DJ, record-label artist, event producer, music educator, and studio producer. He has released on Warner Music Asia, Build It Records (US), and over a dozen independent labels. In 2024, SHAW became a co-producer for James Hype — among electronic music's most in-demand producers — with their debut collaboration "Left To Right" debuting at #3 on Beatport's global top-selling tracks chart.
As an educator, SHAW has taught DJing and music production at professional level, mentoring the next generation of electronic artists. As an event producer, he has built and headlined nights across Taipei, London, Shanghai, and Bangkok. His sound moves across deep house, tech house, Afro house, and melodic electronic — always rooted in a deeply DJ-literate, floor-first sensibility.
The Painted Rose — releasing September 17th, 2026 — is SHAW's debut live EP: six original tracks, one continuous set, one physical collector's object. It is the first formal statement of an artist who has spent years at the intersection of technical mastery and creative vision.
